Nursing Faculty/Student Team to Present at International Patient Simulation Conference

Congratulations to Nursing Simulation Laboratory Director and Faculty Member Denise Dawkins and her student researchers Brittany Barlow, Christina Esquibel, Lindsey Graham, and Ayan Sheikh! Their presentation, BSN Student Simulation Evaluation, was accepted for the Human Patient Simulation Network (HSPN) Annual Conference in Tampa, Florida February 28-March 1 2012.

According to their website, “HPSN is where the brightest and best leaders, educators, innovators and thinkers in healthcare education gather each year to make meaningful connections for hands-on learning, to share tales of innovation, and to preview the latest simulation technology in an intimate, immersive setting. HPSN is the largest education, training and networking medical simulation community in the world. From the annual event in Tampa, which hosts over 1,500 simulation experts from around the world, to the regional and international HPSN meetings, to the newsletter and online community, HPSN continues to grow larger and more impressive, year after year. Whether you use METI or any other brand of simulator, HPSN is the ultimate place to discover hands-on tricks and tips for optimizing simulation in your learning environment.”

We are excited and proud to have a diverse joint faculty-student group from CSUB Nursing present at this international event.
