Dr. Susan Stafinbil Co-Chairs Workshop Session at Conference on Early Modern Women

In June of this year, Dr. Susan L. Stafinbil (English) co-chaired a workshop session at the Attending to Early Modern Women Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The conference, held every three years, is sponsored by the Society for the Study of Early Modern Women. Dr. Stafinbil’s session, titled “Community and Subjectivity in Early Modern Women’s Writing,” invited participants to respond to materials by Aphra Behn, Margaret Cavendish, and Katherine Philips and to consider the role community plays in the formation of individuation and subjectivity in early modern women’s writing.
