Joint Nursing Faculty/Student Podium Presentation at Magic in Teaching 2011

Denise Dawkins and Dr. Kathleen Gilchrist will be presenting “Peer to Peer BSN Simulation Grading” at the Magic in Teaching Conference October 18-19 in San Diego. They will be joined for this podium presentation by BSN student researchers DeVaughn Bell, Julianna Kroeker, and Andrea Padilla. Each student has received a $500 grant from the Bakersfield chapter of the Association of California Nurse Leaders to fund research and travel expenses.

The Regional Nursing Simulation Center at CSUB is an outstanding student learning resource, and the nursing faculty involved in this research project should be applauded for bringing students, technology, and research together in a way that benefits nursing education itself.
